v2 of my diy x-carriage design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1363222
No support needed to print the carriage or part cooling fan guides, some support needed to print the clamp/fanmount and BLtouch mount.
Improvements over previous version:
40mm extruder cooling fan for improved hotend cooling. A silicone sock is advised to avoid cooling the heatblock.
Extra z-height by mounting the hotend higher up on the x-carriage
Disadvantage:
Part cooling guides bolt into the extruder clamp from the back so the entire assembly must be completed before mounting the hotend.
BLtouch offset: (0,-40,-1.1)
