printrite J-head(e3dv5) extruder by shawdreamer

this design allows for the direct replacement of the standard printrite (direct drive) block extruder with the more up to date and flexible J-head variety of extruders.
the lower carriage section is not required for the change over to the j-head as the two part upper extruder mount will fit straight onto the printrite carriage without modification to the carriage itself, the carriage design addition simply allows more space around the j-head hot-end and also offers the same benefits if the user wishes to fit a Mk7/8 dual extruder instead of the J-head.
this design is for the bowden variety of J-head (meaning the extruder is fed from a remote feeder motor away from the carriage)
the carriage uses 4x LM8UU 8mm Bearings (alternatively you can re-use the printrite originals)
The fan is positioned to the rear of the carriage extruder to give a better view of the extruder tip during operation, the fan is a 40mm fan (again the original fan is uable too)
future additions will include a adjustable belt tensioner, mounting options for tip cooling fans, mounting options for auto bed leveling and possibly a additional design for dual J-head extruders, Ill update as designs are finalized and tested.

10x m2 washers
additional info (02/08/2016):-
initial calibration and software adjustments done.
filament retraction needs to be increased to a minimum of 2mm (PR stock slic3r setting is 1mm)
included additional design specifically for Printrite users:- " endstop adjustment block", this attaches to the left hand side of the carriage and basically physically re-centre's the hotend to were the original would land when in home position, without the block in place your prints will be slightly off centre on your bed (15mm off centre)

added alternative extruder mount bracket with mount point for 5mm 12v LED (positioned to light extruder tip area, can be powered along with extruder fan)
