I have designed a catamaran which is big enough to carry humans (two swimmer each swimmer has a volume of 60l so it should carry 120kg). You can just float down a river or make some unique extensions on it. Design it as a sailing catamaran (with mast and sail) or as a pedal-boat with a pedal drive (3D-printable gears, drive chain, …). Just imagine what you could make with it.
The printable parts are mainly for the swimmer. The swimmers are out of several 150mm high segments (Height should fit exactly for Makerbot Replicator 5.Gen). The segments for the swimmer must be put together. After this you need to glue them waterproof. The best would be some fiberglass mat which is glued with epoxy resin on the joints of the swimmer.
The platform is made out of wood, because I found no solution to make it strong and 3D-printable in this size.
I was just able to print a model at 10% of the original size because I have no printer witch can print such huge parts, but every Makerbot or other printer should be able to print. The model floated very well.
I would be very happy to see the catamaran float. So if you have the opportunities to print it try it please. But be careful at the first tests. If the swimmers are breaking you could drown.
Have fun with it.
