Expanding circular linkage, that can be 3d print in place as an assembly without any supports. It is similar to a Hoberman sphere, but in 2 dimensions.
There are other similar expanding circular linkages out there which may have better expanding capabilities, but this model is designed to emphasize that such design can be made as "print in place without supports". The links are designed so that it can rotate, but will not fall apart.
This model is designed to fit inside a 140mm x 140mm test bed.
