This is a Power Suppy Switch with a fuse and an holder for an ventilator for the Anet a8 (Prusa_i3 clone)
Printing:
There are two versions of the model. The first is a raw model. You need a lot of supports to print it, while the edges of the holes have to be perfect in line.
But i also made a second version with pre-installed supports for the Power-Switch hole and some changed geometries. If you print that version, you can print it without supports with the feet on the ground. This will also give you the best result. I used "Brim" for printing, while without the model wouldn't stick to the head bed.
Assembling:
The hole for the switch is 48.6mm x 36mm (1.91 inch x 1.4 inch). I am using a IEC connector, "snap-in", with switch as found on reichelt.de with the Item-No.: KES 3WS-SI.
Also I used 2 M4 screws to mount it to the power-supply. To be honest: Is is extremely difficult screw it so the power-supply, while there is not a big hole to arrange the nut. Maybe next version will be better ;) But be careful while installing, always pull the electric plug! safety first! Btw.: I use a 1A fuse and its enough.
I haven't installed an fan jet, but you can install a 40 mm x 40 mm fan inside the construction.
Have:
Fun. Als tell my what shound be changed in further version. Or tell me what you have changed. If you like the model, let me know :)
