This is a basic power switch case for the Anet A8 3D printer. It can be screwed into a corner of the frame of the printer.
Some notes:
You will have to drill holes through the frame of the printer and through the printed case in order to insert mounting screws. It can be difficult to drill through the acrylic frame, which is very durable and slippery. The mounting screws I used were the same ones that came with the printer.
There are two holes in the bottom of the case for cable entry/exit.
There is a hole in the side for a toggle switch. You might want to adjust the size of this hole depending on the switch you are using. I had to drill mine out a little bit. Choose a switch that is rated for at least 120V. Not sure on the amperage.
The hot wire (black or brown) should pass through the switch. The other wires, neutral and ground, can be connected with wire nuts or soldered together. Cover exposed solder joints with heatshrink.
Consider which way you want the switch to be facing (up or down) when the machine is powered. Convention would dictate that the machine turns on when the switch is pressed up, and off when it is pressed down.
