Portable Hanging Crimp by zephyrok

Last crawled date: 4 years, 6 months ago
A simple minimalist hanging crimp for training climbing grip strength or warming up at the crag. There are two edges, 20mm and 15mm depth with a 6mm rounded edge. The width of the edge is for a single hand. Super-gluing a strip of sandpaper curved over the top and front each of the crimp edges provides friction. There are two holes for a loop of 7mm or thinner cord.
This has been working well for me to occasionally warm up my fingers at the crag when needed. I usually put my foot in the cord on one side of the crimp while seated and pull against it. Keep in mind, use this at your own risk!
