Pop Pop Boats are a small scale demonstration of a steam engine. This project is a remix of the 3D Printed Pop Pop Boat. I've added plugs to keep the water in the primed engine and modified the engine to print well using #MeshMixer. Having groups of students build the Putt Putt (PopPop) Boats enables them to get hands-on up-close interaction with the components of their simple steam engine. This is a great #ScienceProject for helping students develop understanding of thermodynamic cycles, phase changes, and transfer of energy.
