You see revolutionary product on the Internet. What do you do?
Buy it? Nah, that's too easy.
Of course you copy it!
I made it loosely based on OSS Suppressors, but it still keeps key feature: instead of keeping gases inside and later blowing them on your face it diverts them into helical passages around main part, allows them to cool down and and slowly vent forwards. Also I menaged to more or less replicate nice looking end cap.
For more info, rest of the .STLs and assembly guides refer to my preverious silencer design which I couldn't mark as remix because thingiverse.
Slim version clearly not a RAD 22 rip-off
All baffles and caps have it's own helical grooves, theese come in few options:
normal or rod - you can decide if you want baffles flying around or held together by m3 threaded rod
baffles can be either uniform all the way round or have hole which disturbs gases flow making silencer more effective
2 versions of end caps, just decide which look you like more
normal blast baffle and reinforced one, normal is the same row as normal baffle (stl).
To keep it simple I've included everything inside 2 files so you'll have to delete unnecessary parts.
I suggest using stronger blast baffle with rod and baffles with holes.
If you use rod version when assembling tighten it until it has slight curve, then just push everything inside.
I noticed that some of the baffles like to melt with each other but I'm to lazy to address this issue. Silencer still works fine so that's not much of issue.
Only parts you'll require are slim base, slim locking nut and locking rings found here.
Fat version
It just adds new cap and helical rings inside outer chamber, baffles in inner one stay the same. Each ring has one groove longer a bit so they index with each other. Bottom ring is press fit on PVC pipe and in theory everything should be pressed together by gases.
Keep in mind that these probably won't survive .223 so use only for .22lr or similar and airsoft.
Check your local law before printing because not all countries like silencers.
As always feel free to write a comment, post remix or make. Happy printing and shooting!
