Many thanks to Kelly Egan for the design of this great project! The combination of 3D Printing, some electronics, and Arduino programming are some of my favorite things!
NEMA ADAPTER:
For my build of this project, I'm going to use a NEMA 17 to spin the horses. I designed the adapter to adapt the original ponytrope center hub 4 bolt pattern to a 5mm diameter NEMA shaft. After I made the piece shown in the picture, I have since improved the STL file by lowering the M3 set screw more towards the center of the adapter where there is more material. -22 March 2015
CENTER BASE CAROUSEL
I thought it looked better with the angled part at the top, gives it a crown molding effect. -28 March 2015
