Tip for use - use a plastic disc between the screw face and the piston to avoid scratching the piston face.
This is an stl file for the printing of a portafilter shaped tool that fits into the grouphead of the ponte vecchio lusso espresso machine. It allows for the piston to be removed from the machine by compressing the spring above it, and therefore allowing the pin in the lever assembly to be removed. This then allows the piston to be lowered down and removed.
The tool works with a captured metric nut in its base, and with the screwing in of the metric bolt to press against the piston face.
First, remove the shower screen.
Second, use a suitable material atop the bolt to protect the piston face from scratching.
Third, lock in the portafilter, then screw in the bolt, probably with a socket or wrench.
