An adapter is required to mount the polar scope illuminator when the declination bracket is used. The adapter is self centering by registering into the RA axis, and is held securely by turning it in place. I designed two versions depending on preference. The knurled version fits the small end of the illuminator. The smooth version fits the broad end bringing the light closer and may offer a brighter glow.
