Everybody who owns a 70ies or 80ies vintage racing bike knows that riding Shimano 600 Cage Pedals without the original vintage racing shoes is like stepping on a pair of knives.
Especially riding with sneakers and their thin sole is extremely unpleasant.
These Platforms make for a more comfortable ride with any kind of shoes.
Made from PET-G with 40% Infill, they weigh in less than 20grams and are visually unobtrusive.
They are secured to the Pedal by two M4x8 screws (6-16mm length is also alright), screwed into the untreaded PET-G hole. I used black nickel plated DIN7380 half round screws.
Feel free to use, print, edit, remix, sell parts of, but share alike!
