This is part of an attempt to make a DIY PC interface for DE5000 LCR meters (since the manufacturer charges way too much for the interfaces).
This fits tightly - though well - into my meter, but please be careful as it's not super well tested.
This should hold the 3mm IR led and photodiode at the correct locations, but I never finished the circuitry for the interface; it shouldn't require much more than a USB-TTL RS232 adapter, an IR LED, IR photodiode and a comparator though.
