I made this stand for my pioneer CDJ 800s. I use 800s professionally as they are very easy to repair and parts are cheap while keeping vinyl emulation mode - ideal for a timecode system.
I decided that as I have four I would mount two of them with my home setup.
As I am a repairer of this equipment I had no problem drilling four holes through the bottom of the back plate, I know it wont effect anything inside. Please only do this if you know what you are doing, Im not going to pay to replace your nexus 2000s after you stick a drill through the laser! anyway disclaimer over.
This design requires a few M4 bolts, poundland sell lovely little packs which i used for this.
I printed this at 20% fill and i think about a 0.15 layer height. If the pivot gets a little loose you can use some thread lock on the bolt, a drop of super glue or a wedge - which is so easy to get in there based on the pivot design. If it did get loose then dont panic, it can only move within a range anyway.
The design is strong.... SERIOUSLY strong. I put the bottom section between two bricks and was able to stand on it!
Happy printing
