I love rwicksall's design for a commodore-styled external enclosure for the Pi1541 drive emulator, but my implementation of it uses a rotary encoder instead of the buttons. So I've started from their design, but heavily modified it in tinkercad.
I "filled in" all of the holes on the front panel, then created a new hole for the OLED display, and a hole with registration hole for mounting the rotary encoder. Since I only wanted one activity LED, I moved that to have 1541-styled placement in the bottom left.
The electronics will be hot-glued in place on mine, with hand-wiring, since they are remote off of my Pi-Zero-1541, so the placement is not confirmed to work if you use a perfboard. The rest of the enclosure is used as-is from the original design.
I also added some additional registration pins to help line it up and keep it lined up with the lower portion of the enclosure.
I printed mine face-down on my MakerBot, with raft and no support, but that's just me. You may want to print it differently... I'm not sure it matters.
