Version 2: I added 10mm to the height of the uprights to give a bit more clearance for the props. If you do not build the assembly flat, the spanners that go between the guards could hit a propeller.
I needed a propeller guard to give me full protection of the blades while operating near
objects and one that I could print with my FlashForge 3D printer. The design is a snap
on type and is easily installed and removed. This is designed to fit on most 3D-Printing
beds that are at least 190mm X 140mm. The spanners between the guards are not
necessary. They can easily be assembled with super glue or plastic solvent.
Each print makes one guard and one spanner. I like to print them in bright colors so I can
easily distinguish the front of the drone.
