Perfect Sky

Original Photo Print under Acrylic Glass (120 x 90 cm, 48'' x 36''). A deep blue summer sky in the Pacific Northwest with puffy white clouds, remnants of the previous day's rainy weather, 2015. Dominant Pantone colors (Fashion, Home & Interiors): Olympian Blue, Daphne, Silver Lake Blue, Bit of Blue, Flint Stone. I try to capture (!?) the original sky’s grandeur in my Skies-Series experimenting with aperture and shutter speed and also trying to capture the specific structure of each of these wonderful skies. Even though I use a digital camera, I do not believe in post-shoot-editing for my Skies-Series: all photographs are as shot, no alterations, not even cropping. This photograph is available as an original photo print under 0.24’’ (6 mm) acrylic glass. The acrylic glass adds depth and brilliancy. The print is mounted on an aluminum dibond backing and has metal rails on the back as a hanging system that is invisible from the front, but gives the picture a floating appearance (approximately 0.39’’ (1 cm) off the wall).
