I designed these thematic timer bases for the Stonemaier game, Pendulum. I wanted to both provide a wider base for the timers and make them feel a bit more thematic. So I made them look like watch gears.
I am selling these, as well as some other accessories for the game, on my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/838737166/pendulum-board-game-accessories?ref=listings_manager_grid
Please note that to make sure that the bases stay on, I made the fit tight. As such, repeatedly taking them off and on will likely scratch the original timers and may wear out the base itself over time. I have not noticed much yet, but I tend to just leave them on.
Also, the timers will not fit back in the original insert with the bases on. So you will either need to do as I do, and simply store the timers outside of the box, or find another storage solution. I tried to make a low profile version, but it still didn't fit well in the insert and was subject to a high degree of breakage.
