(2nd attempt. This project's original upload, before Christmas, wasn't published for some reason.)
Got an SLA resin printer a few weeks ago. It is capable of fine details, and printing 5 of something, or even filling the build plate with copies, doesn't take any longer than printing just one....
I was reminded of one of my older projects. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:897037
Printing this array of 240 plastic .177 air rifle pellets took just 20 minutes. It used around 20 ml. of resin according to the software.
Print quality is a thousand percent better than using filament. They fire fine, and are consistent, but I only tested for a minute, with a couple shots at a paper target up close.
Considering the available print accuracy, it should be possible to make good quality pointed, wad cutters or hollow points or any other style.
