Peat Pellet Seedling Starter Planter Pot, Shade and Support by BalinTech

I had some old 36mm Jiffy brand peat pellets and decided to make a single-serving germination kit for them. The shade covers the seedling and acts as a barrier to keep hard light out and moisture in. Easy to assemble and successfully tested.
Soak a peat pellet in warm water until it's about 1 1/2" (38mm) tall.
Place in the pot.
Wait for the pellet to cool to room temperature.
Place a few seeds into the pellet per the seed packet's instructions.
Cover with the shade.
Leave away from the sun for a few days watering only when pellet turns light brown.
Cease using the shade once seedlings have grown to 1-2" (25-50mm).
Gradually expose the seedlings to outdoor conditions moving indoors at night.
Cull the less-dominant seedlings.
Allow the dominant seedling to form a rootball into the pallet.
Transplant into a larger pot with fresh potting soil.
Edit: I've added two new pieces of support apparatus, 1/4" (tested) and 1/8" (untested) diameter, to help rehabilitate "legged" seedlings which grew too tall, too fast and too thin to help prop them up so they don't fall over and die.
