The Peanut Puzzle was invented almost 50 years ago by Stewart Coffin (his design #67). It consists of six pieces, all different. These pieces can assembled into many different shapes. By adding the optional pair of end pieces even more shapes can be formed. Over the years, Stewart Coffin has been generous in allowing copies of his puzzles to be reproduced.
This is a nice puzzle for kids, because there is no fixed goal and it is fun to explore ways the pieces can fit together. Adults will also enjoy the challenge of finding all possible shapes using the six basic pieces.
