This Christmas tree uses a tree designed by J.Daniel Herrera. I have 3D printed a new base and created a small PCB to hold an ATTiny85 to drive the tree.

Christmas Tree PCB
I have included the PDF with the board layout. I just printed the PCB layout from the PDF on to glossy paper using a laser printer and made the PCB using the Toner method.http://arduino-guay.blogspot.com/2013/12/arbol-de-navidad-shield-para-arduino.html
Base
The base can be 3D printed without supports. The PCB was made with the Toner method (Eagle files included). The DC Socket is held in with super glue and the PCB is held in with hot glue.
Programming the ATTiny85
This is the tricky part. First you need to get yourself a "SOIC8 SOP8 to DIP8 EZ Programmer Adapter Socket Module With Wide 208mil" - The Wide 208mil is important!. Next you need to burn the Digispark boot loader on to the chip. Once that was done, I plugged the SOP8 to DIP8 adaptor into by home-made Digispark board and uploaded the sketch (Also included). I tested the tree and once it was working, soldered the ATTiny85 onto the PCB.
