This is a simple box to hold a custom PCB. This PCB uses optocouplers and an MCP23017 port-expander to monitor 24VAC output on 16 channels over i2c. The address is selectable and the board is designed to be daisy-chained with up to 7 other boards for up to 128 sensing channels.
Each board also has 4 individual channels that do not pass through the port expander but can be polled using any digital pin.
Check my hackaday page for more info.https://hackaday.io/project/26202-16-channel-24vac-detection-over-i2c
The PCB size is:
93.5mm x 63mm x 13mm as pictured. Mount holes are 4mm and spaced 7.25mm/7.25mm x/y from the corners.
The box features snap fit hinges!
The hinges and their snap-fit is designed for Esun PLA+, but the fit can be changed with the variable claspCut = claspDiam/4.5. claspCut can be set between = claspDiam/2.5 to claspDiam/6 as needed.
The box can be scaled but claspCut should be changed as needed.
SCAD code is MESSY!
