This suburb station 60m below ground has eight lifts that cost $1.5m each and are capable of taking 100 people 100 metres in one minute. Back up power would be provided with wheelchair access on the spiral ramp in case all else failed also positive ventilation to the shaft and station would prevent any smoke in case of fire allowing the passengers all the time they want to exit the emergency ramp.
