This is modified version of the ScribbleJ's parametric herringbone gears, my first openscad design. Intended for a reduction gear box.
Additions:
-Fixed captive nut position for rack gear
-Helix angle modifier parameter added(you should keep helix angle under 45 degrees unless you know what youre doing)
Missing:
-Rack gear hex nut sink removed because the bigger gear is also going to be used on a 5mm shaft on my project. You can revert it back to on by modifying parameters though.
Notes: Setscrew holes aren't through, because 3d printing a hole between the gear teeth is not a good practice for most printers out there, the hole comes almost up to the teeth and from up there you should drill it yourself.
