Parametric Ikea Skadis Drill Bit Carousel
This is a parametric Ikea Skadis Drill Bit Carousel designed in OpenSCAD, offering some parameters for customization. It is a remix of Ikea Skadis Dril Bit Carousel by 3Deddy. The carousel is designed to be fully compatible with 3Deddys Drill Bit Carousel holder.
The attached STL-file (Skadis Drill Bit Carousel.stl) has been rendered using this settings.
The customization options include:
number of drills
size of drills
form of drills (round and hexagon)
custom text on top (embossed or embedded)
show/hide drill sizes
Parameter Overview
Body Parameters
Radius: The radius of the carousel in [mm]. The default value (25mm) fits on Drill Bit Carousel holder.
Height: The height of the carousel including grip in [mm].
Grip Parameters
Freq: Frequency of the grip "waves". Higher is more.
Amp: Size of the grip "waves".
Grip Height: Height of the grip in [mm].
Drill Holes Parameters
Drill Style: Round for drills and hexagon for bits.
Drill Sizes: Array of drill sizes.
Drill Labels: Array of labels (side). This value is optional, drill size is used as label by default.
Drill Edge: Width of the drill hole edges [mm].
Drill Edge Height: Height of the drill hole edges [mm].
Drill Inner Spacing: Inner spacing for drill holes.
Drill Outer Spacing: Distance to the outer edge of the carousel.
Drill Labels Parameters
Drill Label: Show drill labels on the side of the carousel.
Drill Label Font: Font for drill labels.
Drill Label Size: Font size for drill labels.
Drill Label Height: Emboss height of the drill labels in [mm].
Holder Parameters
Holder Height: Height of the holder inlet in [mm]. The default value (18mm) fits on Drill Bit Carousel holder.
Holder Radius: Radius of the holder inlet in [mm]. The default value (4,825mm) fits on Drill Bit Carousel holder.
Holder Edge: Width of the holder inlet edges [mm].
Holder Edge Height: Height of the holder inlet edges [mm].
Top Label Parameters
Top Label: Show top label.
Top Label Type: Circular or straight font for the label.
Top Label Style: Embossed or embedded label.
Top Label Text: Text of the top label.
Top Label Font: Font for the top label.
Top Label Size: Font size of the top label.
Top Label Height: Height of embossed or embedded top label in [mm].
