Parabolic antenna / battery case for Wemos D1 mini + DS18B20 with anker® astro3e 10000mah powerbank (what I had lying around) outdoor lake temperature sensor, sends the data to emoncms.org once in 30min and goes to deep sleep between.
Without this case I had very poor connection to my wlan (which is located ~100m from the sensor) and after, none of the sent packages has been lost, so works quite well - for me at least.
Parabolic shape has been taped with aluminium tape. Glued together with silicone to avoid moisture at outdoors.
Don't know yet how long will it work before needing to charge. Atm. four weeks has passed without problems.
