paddleboard rack cannot be assembled

Boards of different dimensions are represented by different components. Each board is an instance of a component. Sketchup does not allow me to assemble the pieces properly. I got the drawing to look reasonable (see picture), but it took a long time. The pieces are still not lined up exactly right. When I rotate the view, everything 'explodes', so the pieces are apparently still not in their proper places in virtual space. The whole thing is explained in the help forum. #ludditeproblem
