Experimental object as yet. Not ready to fly on its own. Scaling up may help greatly. I'll note here when I nail it.
This is a 3D extrusion of a photograph converted to .svg Inkscape and modified for 3D printing. That is, all parts must connect and be able to hold their own weight when rendered. This version is Picasso's famous Peace Dove, holding a short olive branch.
I admit, I have had a lot of trouble with this print, in Mattercontrol, I've used the internal slicer and Slicer3 without great results. If you have a good combination for complex forms, use them on the STL and let me know how you do. It's a compelling little sculpture that I'd like to see more easily shared. Then again, I might be the only one with some troubles.
