After the last clarifications about the behavior that the flexible walkway must have, I publish an animation that investigates the positions and limit dimensions of the flooring system.
The challenge request to place the walkway 16 "below the threshold of the communication doors. I can guess that this request is aimed at positioning the astronauts low enough to not hit the upper jamb during the passage, also considering the presence of the suit backpack EVA that increases the upward bulk not easily perceptible when the person bends down.
However, in this way the wheeled loads must be raised above the threshold of the median bulkhead and if it is true that the actuators of the Stewart platform must be under the gangway it will be necessary to increase the maximum diameter of the containment cylinder by approximately 250 - 300 mm. Clearly this change will be the subject of a redesign of the entire system, so I have now investigated the positions of the walkway as if it were aligned with the door sills.
By lowering the gangway as required, the dimensions will increase as a result of the greater distance from the rotation axes.
The oscillations of the bulkhead are 15 ° on the three axes, pitch, roll and yawn, it results that already in this case the stretching of the sides of the trapezium is relevant, passing from a minimum of 498 mm to 1098 mm.
Another factor to keep in mind is that with this 15 ° oscillation also the bulkheads are very close to the central one with a minimum of 326 mm. when compressed, and the fabric of the containment cylinder must have an abundance and the ability to take many folds when compressed, it is therefore quite a challenge to find a solution.
