OpenSCADvent day 10 - Cylindrical projection tools by spacebuck

This one's a bit late because it took FOREVER to render. I suppose I'm hitting the limits of what OpenSCAD can currently do!
This is a kinda hacky way of wrapping 2d objects (like text) around a cylinder. It took a long time to compute and I'm not super happy with the results. I looked into using scad-utils but I can't use that with text. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
