OpenSCAD rebuid of Allted's Mostly_Printed_CNC International Edition V4.0
The original is at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:790533
Some updates and minor modifications by jpmendes and others.
LICENSE: Creative commons non commercial
This is a work in progress.
TODO: Make it more parameterizable
Put animation to work.
Note: The prefix "IE" stands for International Edition, designed for 25mm diameter pipes assembly.
Do not contact me or Allted, the original author, about issues related with this project.
If you are interested in parts or kits Allted sells them at: http://www.vicious1.com/
but have in mind that not all the parts, namely the corner locks, presented here are originals.
My corner locks have additional holes to insert screws for wood or plastic do better distribute pressure and relief the stress of the captive nuts boxes of the corner locks. Holes have to be drilled carefully on the original corner blocks.
Screw threads are not represented because representation of a thread is very processor power demanding.
Some modules are pre-rendered, so you have to wait until rendering completes.
For the belts representation you should have access to list-comprehension-demos and scad-utils libraries, I think both are available with the standard OpenSCAD installation.
This ships with no guarantees at all.
