Note - this is a work in progress. I have not yet seen if the Edison/Explorer will fit. It should.
Estimated 48-50 hours of battery life with true 3400+ mAh cells.
NOTE: This may not fit the very new 1.3 version of the Explorer board that is shipping in July/August because they made the board 0.85mm thicker.
Designed to work with these - you then use a hot nail or solder iron to melt over the printed plastic protrusions:

Note - if you put the cells in backwards, I think it will burn out the charger circuitry of the Explorer, so be careful. Maybe put colored paint on the cells and holder to remind you how to line them up. Also consider putting a diode in the circuit to prevent this issue.
