The form and buttons are cased into a sweeping moulded form, giving the pleasant neutral aesthetic from afare, whilst being more noteiceable and eye catching at the functional interaction distance.
The 4 integrated LEDs provide visual cues as to the functions available and if entered codes are correct, incorrect or incomplete.
The swipe card slot is integrated into the top, in a simple visual, the surface finish of the plastics modified only to highlight the function keys and keep the contrast and visual cues subtle to keep in line with Blackboard branding
The light guides under moulded into the keys would need to be using a grade of plastic similar to
