Not happy with analog handbrakes being a pricey investment for us mid-tier sim driving enthusiasts, and all of them designed for racing. I set out to make this.
It features the ratchet locking mechanism and button release of road vehicles (even gives the sound and haptic feedback of one). But simply by removing the pawl's rubberband, it will turn into a drifting brake.
It has 6x6 mm square holes for mounting with zipties or bolts, horizontal or vertical depending on what you prefer
The lever uses an adapter to fit the PVC piping, this means it wouldn't be hard to design a different handle that could slide on in its' stead.
Non 3D printed parts
a lot of it could probably be substituted with something else if you're creative
M6 threadless bolt (threadless area about 36mm in length, design shouldn't be too picky about it)
M3 screw
Wire coathanger cut and bent to fit
PVC pipe, mostly because I was unsure if a printed tube would be strong enough
Good quality rubberbands
WH148 ≤10k potentiometer, ≤15mm shaft. And wires
Teensy arduino board (~16$)

Changes history:
July 2017 - Added a lever mk3 with a reinforced rubberband hook. Old version still available.
December 2017 - Bottom "Lever block pin" broke. Added a new version that can be printed horizontally instead of vertical, for more strength.
