I wanted another faction/army for the RTS-style 1:100 scale wargame I'm creating, hence the Oktober Guard (the Warsaw Pact equivalent to the Joes) vehicles and equipment. I needed an HQ unit but couldn't find anything online/canon, so I ended up just making this up.
The U.R.S.A. Mobile Command HQ is made of four vehicles that drive to the desired location and then deploy. Two vehicles back up to each other and open, creating the HQ platform. The tanker truck (probably containing some environmentally unfriendly fuel, this is the 1980s after all) is used to power the generator that runs the base and also refuel any mobile units operating in the area. The long range mortar is used for fire support, based on radar data gathered by the HQ. The top of each tractor cab has a small gun for defensive fire.
To make the entire base as intended you'll need:
4 tractors
1 fuel tank
1 mortar base and 1 mortar
2 of the closed bunkers
1 each of the 'open' bunkers. Sorry, wasn't worth my time to make them actually open and close.
None of these pieces require supports for printing.
Much respect and gratitude to the men and women of our Armed Forces (past and present). Your sacrifice allows people like me to live in peace, freedom and to make silly little toys. It's actually you people that are "the real American heroes".
