Offset Printing Press
Quite some time ago i created a 3d model of an offset printing press, mainly inspired by a Heidelberger Speedmaster SX74. Building from different reference photos and with a large amount of creative freedom i modeled the print tower as well as a connecting piece.
As i recently made a backup of my old files, i rediscovered this model, thats why i'm uploading it now.
Be aware that i was learning blender when i modeled this object, so it's everything but optimized and the uv maps are quite chaotic.
FDM / Color Print
I originally created the model to use it as a tracked object for an augmented reality application, as such it was printed in full color via shapeways (a tower each for CMYK plus three connectors). The .x3d files should work in combination with the included textures, if you want to replicate this.
Otherwise it should be enough to print the tower.stl's in fdm/fff.
Small Parts
There are some small parts that i printed seperately, mainly the handles, buttons and other stuff. I placed these on a base plate, primed and painted these after printing and attached them with superglue.
