Octoprint automation led lightsOctoprint automation contains explanations of how to automate light with high voltage and relay 2 channels.
From Octoprint automation led light, i use a mosfet instead of the relay for low voltage leds (5v to 12v max).
Materials:
12v led here
Mosfet IRF520N TO-220 N-Channel here
Raspberry pi 2/3

Installation: Same as Octoprint Automation thing, with additionnal/replace action for leds.
(replace, add, or mix).
Leds can start/stop with printer switch on/off automation (my choice)
I use pin 27 (BCM) to keep existing pins for 2 channel relays (see my octoprint automation)

-I'll install RGB LED Ring 12 Bit WS2812 5050 driven with an arduino nano...
-I order also step by step motors to drive (or try :) my pi camera with octoprint ;)
