Not-so-Parametric Jar Box by Hadryon

This is a parametric design, so it works at most scales. No assembly, besides putting the cap on top. Why build this? Imagine giving this to your girlfriend on Valentine's day, with one of those geared hearts inside. That's just victory, there. Don't forget to rotate it to vertical, and by all means, remix the hell out of it. I lack the patience to turn the petals into lacework, or to scrimshaw the outside.
Update 1. I attempted to print the first version, had to shrink it to 50% scale to fit my print area (200mm cubed). The gaps on the petals were too small, and merged in the print. Also, the hinges were too weak.
Version 2 (told you this is a work in progress): not parametric at all. Reduced the base scale to fit most printers, rotated the models to show properly, increased the spacing between the petals, modified the hinges. Now, there's a second file with pins and caps, to be printed at 100% infill. This is important, because the hinges need greater strength. When you've finished printing all the parts, insert the pins through the hinges, then glue on the caps.
