Hey All,
I've done a few Nokia Things Previously, so I thought I'd revisit this lil'blighter.
Original: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:680189
Dummy 5c battery:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:652274
Fake Nokia battery stash for micro SD cards:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:678491
Nokia 3310 LCD screen shield for Arduinoshttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1368044
This is for a Nokia 5c Battery - still commonly available on eBay and so are the chargers.
Handy little rechargable battery for electronics. This is going to be used in a future electronics Project.
It's working pretty well.
Basically download the files, print in ABS, get some wires, strip them, run them to the terminals of the battery, soak in the acetone (Nail Varnish Remover in this example!) push the 3mm filament (native files included - I may well do a remox for the Ø1.75mm filament users out there) - squish together. Job's a goodun.
Clip a CHARGED battery in there, power LEDs, LED Arrays, Arduinos, Voltage Regs, Microbit, etc using the Nokia Battery.
Enjoy this, it says my "99th" upload - I'd misread the counter before and had an unreleased design (duplicate) so deleted that. That aside - I've uploaded Suites of parts some times, so I'm well past 100 uploads, but it's great to see it on the screen.
Quite excited to become a Centurion of Thingiverse in the next few days. When I get a good print.
This is all due to my "Design a Day" new years resolutions - I released stuff but didn't perfect it, so some has been re-released (e.g. Pipes) after printing and checking and modifying. Other stuff is "Good enough" - the original of this didn't work too well.
This is better.
I've made one.
