It's a really great kit, but the power section of the kit can pack a helluva punch if you accidentally pick it up the wrong way. But, at the same time, the kit has an attractive component layout, and I didn't want to cover that up. So, I made this case to keep the buzzy bits away from prying hands---I'm looking at you, my fellow co-workers...
There are vents in the bottom of the model, so it should provide decent airflow with some rubber feet. I haven't noticed the clock warming up at all, so they might not be necessary. But, better safe that sorry.
