This is a Nightwing staff design I created, Inspired by wizzardofboz"s Nightwing escrima sticks. I found their design to be very cool, but not as strong as I would have hoped nor did I want to print the large stick to finish the design. So I began my process of the redesign that brought me to these current models. I got rid of the stick aspect of their design and replaced it with a PVC tube. (approx 20in long with a 3/4in diameter) I then thoroughly wrapped this stick in electrical tape(black and blue) with alternating bands of color to replicate Nightwing's staffs.
The actual 3D models are the three pieces I printed to create the electric topper of the staff. There is a black top with a Nightwing logo, an inner blue insert, and a black body. I combined these pieces with the PVC tube to get my results (attached by an interference fit-i.e. add more tape to make it tighter) This all comes together to look like Nightwing's iconic staffs.
P.S. 20,000-volt battery not included to shock criminals. :)
