The town hall of the old town in Elbląg existed for the XIV century all the way to the fire in 1777 r. Destroyed by fire gave up his seat to tenements in the classical style. The last war caused ravaging the old town in ok 90 %, tenements standing on the spot were also destroyed. In frames led for the quarter of a century reconstructioni were decided to reconstruct the Elbląg Old Town ancient Old town town hall, however in the modern architectural form. The considerable part of the investment was financed by EU, local government covered the rest. At the turn of years 2010 and 2011 was finished.
