This is an original attempt at a replacement Nerf Hyperfire pusher belt.
---8/20/18 Update:
Having encountered numerous setbacks, I decided catharsis would be found in updating and uploading the file.
The latest iteration features 2 changes: larger pusher nubs and placing those nubs strategically to reduce slppage (in theory).
I have yet to produce a viable casting method though I haven't had time lately due to moving. This should change in the coming month!
---Original post from 6/30/18:
I took basic measurements of an existing Hyperfire belt and replicated the number of teeth, diameter, etc.
I've printed this in PLA and should be printable in other more flexible materials. Currently, it may serve as a cast from which to make a mold: I plan on making a belt from casting silicone rubber and other various materials to test.
If you print this out in something like Ninjaflex and it works, please let me know! That would make this no longer a work in progress, I'd say.
I'm also planning on messing around with the design to improve dart slippage/reliability, but only after I can print something that is similar to the original
