This is the second version of my server NAS case, since the first version proved to be unstable and prone to many issues.
You are free to copy, modify, sell or do whatever you please with this design. Drop a comment and brag about it, I'd love to hear what you've done with it :)
This design assumes that you would use a Micro ITX mobo. In my case it is an old ASRock AM1H-ITX, so you will have to modify the design if your mobo is different or has a high heatsink or fan etc.
You can check out the photos to see how it looks from different sides.
120mm fan is mounted directly onto HDDs, since HDDs are snuggly inserted into the base. I used green HDDs that never get hot.
I used a sticky pad to mount the SSD since it did not make much sense to design something special for it, but if you want something more aesthetically pleasing, then you are welcome to add it.
I also used hot glue to mount my power switch (again, I am lazy :))) but you can add anything you like since I uploaded DesignSpark mechanical files as well.
To mount the motherboard I used epoxy to glue the standard motherboard mounts into the case, it makes it much more stable, but again you are free to experiment with whatever makes you happy.
Two vertical holes in the base are for the Power and HDD LEDs, I mounted them with hot glue as well.
Answering potential questions: the power supply is an external one, if you want to experiment with Pico PSU, please do, but I did not find enough room to fit it in.
