a big luxurious mall built in 1974 with Carlyles,Khans,argents, berghoffers and beatsons over the years this mall has had some extensive renovations khans converting to Bartons in 1987 carlyles converting to helferners in 1988 and adding a food court in 1993 in 1997 argents demolished its 1974 anchor to build a bigger anchor in 2000 berghoffers became mayfields and in 2018 beatsons converted to a northgate department store and demolished for mall extension adding 100+ more stores throughout the mall there is fountains and planters that were installed in the 1988 renovation in some parts of the mall the original vaulted ceilings from 1974 are largely still visible in the mayfields mall along with the original skylights including in the helferners atrium along with four palm trees in the original planter reskinned in 1988 with some of the original shops dotted through out untouched all credits go to darrell smith for the trees and google for the tables and chairs in the food court
