Working Model - Nano Wind Turbine/Generator - Generator is a brushed DC motor from HP or Canon Deskjet type printer- Either will do... Source provided so you can adjust nacelle dims to suit your reclaimed dc motor....
Rotor span - Approx 300mm
Tower Height - Approx 3xx mm
Use a 3mm Audio Plug/Socket as a slip ring/mast bearing to transfer power from the head to the tower....
Don't forget to add guy wires...this is a "semi true to scale" and it needs them!!
The blades start turning at around 5km/h wind speed....and yes... it does generate power...
