The Ducted Fan System 01B is a ducted fan driven by a single drive shaft which is connected to a gearbox. The driveshaft is supported by 2 pressurized and sealed bearings. The gear box is driven via another power input shaft which derives its power from an external motor/engine. Designed for big and small applications for a quiter source of thrust. Quite meaning that the engine is completely isolated from the propulsion system.
