A compact case for the MySensors Slim AA node used for a magnetic sensor.
This is a precision designed case specifically for the MySensors Slim AA node board (Version 2.0) created by m26872 over at MySensors.
This configuration is for a magnetically triggered window/door sensor powered by an AA LiFePO4 battery.
It is designed to hold:
One AA LiFePO4 battery in a single AA Battery Holder.
The switch portion of an MC-38 Wired Door Window Sensor.
A MySensors Slim AA node board (Version 2.0) paired with a NRF24L01 radio, an ATMEGA328P microcontroller held in one of these sockets.
Note that the higher voltage of LiFePO4 is required to run the node using a single AA cell.
The case lid snaps securely into the body. The body itself is filleted all around so it looks good and can sit more tightly into chamfered corners.
Width and length are minimized, and require specific arrangement of the 3 components, so please reference the photographs. The center pedestal keeps the magnet close to the surface while maintaining clearance for easy closure of the lid without pinching wires. The fit is very snug once all components are installed in the case and it is closed. The wires from the node board should be soldered through from the top because this helps with the overall fit.
